BASIC INSTALLATION INCLUDES:
- Site visit and on site consultation of deck design and construction
- Necessary construction drawings for HOA and permit application/approvals were applicable
- Delivery of all material and on site construction of wood or composite deck by creditable, Home Depot authorized installers.
- Framing to be of pressure treated yellow pine lumber assembled with 3”galvanized nails, galvanized joist hangers were applicable,5/16” bolts, 2x6 joist on 16” centers and 2x6 rim boards.
- Framing to be supported with ledger board and/or double beams of treated lumber at 8’ max spacing, as determined by site inspection with maximum deck surface no more than 60” above ground.
- Beams will be supported by concrete pads, concrete blocks, post in ground or post on concrete footing depending on the terrain, soil (ground) type, and soil condition, height of deck and specific site requirements as determined by site visit. Spacing as required by site.
- Decking will be of S4S cedar or composite decking material as selected by customer. Decking will be applied by 3” corrosion resistant screws suitable for decking material selected.
- Stain Option will be applied to cedar material at installer’s facility prior to delivery of material to eliminate on site staining. Treated frame is not stained, however optional cedar skirting is available. Some touch up staining will be done on site by manual application process.
- Installer travel up to 30 miles from Home Depot location of purchase.
- Scheduling of Dig Tess by installer.
